I’ve struggled with my skin for as long as I can remember. My skin has contributed to me lacking confidence. I get embarrassed when I have blemishes, or scarring from past breakouts. I get self-conscious that my makeup isn't covering it up enough. Because of all of these feelings, my passion for makeup is really about helping others feel confident and beautiful in their skin. 

I've tried all the different skincare routines, medications and supplements. Nothing has ever helped me long-term with my skin, so I’ve always looked to makeup to help me feel like I don't need to hide. But when makeup kept disappointing me because it didn't look good, didn't last, or eventually made my skin even worse, it certainly didn't help me feel better. That’s why I truly believe that makeup needs to be so much more than just makeup; It needs to easily give you the desired look you're going for, stay there all day and actually help your skin.

While I know people love to play with lipstick and eyeshadow, making the absolute best bases that actually benefit your skin is what’s most important to me. I want you to feel beautiful when you apply them, but also feel good when you take them off. I want you to see that your skin is less red or inflamed, or that your lines and wrinkles are getting a little more subtle, or that your dark circles are fading. Whatever it is that you focus on that makes you not love your own skin (and I know we are all our own worst critics!), I want to help you love it again.

A few months ago, I realized that our BB Cream and Foundation weren't covering it all. There was still a need for a base product, that actually was somewhere between the two. It needed to be lightweight, have some coverage and benefit those that struggle with acne, redness, inflammation and even hyperpigmentation. So, I am thrilled to add our newest product to the collection: The One CC Cream.

First, you might ask, what is a CC Cream? CC Cream stands for Color Correcting Cream. A CC Cream typically has anti-aging benefits (like a BB Cream), but more so focuses on reducing redness in the skin, and helping to even out skin color and texture.

The One CC Cream offers a more medium coverage than our BB Cream (it's comparable to our BB Cream + Extra Coverage), while still including anti-aging benefits to help smooth, hydrate, firm, and visibly improve the look and feel of the skin. It also works to diminish the appearance of pores and fine lines, even out the skin tone, smooth the skin, reduce redness and inflammation and decrease hyperpigmentation. Just like our BB Cream and Foundation, The One CC Cream melts into your skin, allowing the delicious ingredients to work all day, and giving you a beautiful, long-lasting glow.
